It will be hosted at the John Kani Market Theatre in Johannesburg on 24 & 25 August 2018 and is bound to allow audiences to see Siya Bee like they have never seen him before.
BLACK KNIGHT is a true South African story about trials, tribulations and survival in a very difficult and competitive entertainment industry. The challenges that come with being in the public eye, the challenges of having your personal life in the public eye all the time. He gives us honest incite into his world, becoming father, dealing with the media and the many lessons he has come to learn since the days of being a young township boy from Kwazulu Natal and his journey to the bright lights of stardom in the city of gold – Jozi, in search for fame & fortune. His first instalment of the show at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice in Johannesburg last month was a resounding success and earned Siya Bee rave reviews.
It’s a quintessential South African coming of age story told by one of the fastest rising stars of comedy in this country. It will be entertaining comedy show that will cover everything from family dynamics, culture, race issues, relationships, peer pressure, violence, discrimination, tradition and religion in a comedic story about the quest to achieve the South African dream.
