4 weeks of comedy and live music

The Market Theatre is set to start the 2012 Festive Season with a series of unmissable live performances, consisting of music – that universal language that speaks to everyone – and comedy – that tonic that allows us to see the lighter side life.
What will make the Market’s Comedy and Music Extravaganza so special is the unique up-close-and-personal experience that Gautengers will enjoy with their favourite artists in the intimacy of the Main Theatre.
In a four week season, the Market will light up Jozi with an exciting line-up of South African leading performers. Music luminaries such as Lira, Thandiswa Mazwai, Zahara, Oliver Mtukudzi, Trompies and many more these artists will have Mzansi audiences dancing on their feet from Thursday to Sunday.
Some of the country’s top comedians – Mark Banks, Allan Committee, Eugene Khoza and Trevor Gumbi will have the audiences rolling in their aisles with their take on the state of the nation on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
