Korapuetic Music Experience

The Korapuetic concept was born when Joe Makandza, worked with a few doctors in  music therapy sessions.

Korapuetic  is a combination of two words, Kora as a musical instrument & puetic from Therapeutic. In this instance Korapuetic refers to the celebration of life & healing through sounds.

In this concept we will witness an infusion of Modern instruments, keyboards & saxophones together with  African musical instruments such as  Valiha (from Madagascar)  Mbira, (Zimbabwe), Kamale ngoni and Kora (Mali) just to name a few.

Korapeutic is exploring an eclectic mix of Afro- fusion, mbaqanga and a bit of World music.

Special  featured guests include Mbuso Khoza, a Metro Award winning musician, who will grace Market theatre stage along side with Joe Makhanza exploring the sounds of the Kora.

Also Nokukhanya Dlamini a former Joyous Celebration member, also a song bird in the Theatre space, will surface in songs of celebrations. This is a show not to be missed.

Korapuetic music is always enjoyed by all age groups.

The concert will be at the Market Theatre, Ramolao Makhene Hall, at 19H00, for R160 a ticket. Tickets are available at Webtickets.
