The Market Theatre is a not-for-profit organisation and as such is reliant on donations in order to carry out its core business of producing excellent theatre, and particularly promoting new indigenous work, as well as running its numerous outreach programmes.
Donations can fall into 3 categories:
- Donations to the Market Theatre Foundation for the promotion of its overall objectives.
- Donations to the development of new work or individual productions. Such donations can be recognised by acknowledgement in the publicity surrounding a production or in the printed media, posters and programmes.
- Donations to the various outreach programmes and projects run by the Market Laboratory and the Market Photo Workshop which all work towards benefiting the marginalised communities and more especially the youth.
