    About the Role

    Purpose 

    • In charge of managing drink orders
    • Process payment from customers
    • Clean glasses and bar utensils
    • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
    • Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
    • Prepare sales reports and keeping a record of all sales reports
    • Ensuring the bar’s inventory is well-stocked and properly stored.
    • Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
    • Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
    • Ensure all food (snacks) control and safety regulations are followed
    • Entertain customers who sit at the bar by providing stimulating conversation and excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other customers.
    • Ensure that customers are of legal drinking age
    • Oversees the operations of a bar by making sure it’s clean, functioning efficiently and inviting for customers to relax in.
    • Managing and resolving customer complaints.
    • Ensure there is enough staff at the bar during peak times

    Desired Experience & 

    Qualification

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE             

    •      Minimum of a hospitality certificate
    •      Minimum 2 years’ experience in bartending

    •      Team player and work well under pressure
    •      Multitasking and excellent time management skills
    •      Organizational skills
    •      Problem solving skills
    •      Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

    •      Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
    •      Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
    •      Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
    •      Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
