    Job Title: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (FIVE YEAR FIXED CONTRACT)

    Remuneration R85 310,20 – R117 301,46 per month TCTC

    The Market Theatre Foundation (MTF), a leading South African cultural institution renowned for its commitment to the arts, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

    Key Responsibilities:

    •  Strategic financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.

    •  Ensuring compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and other relevant regulations.

    •  Overseeing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

    •  Leading financial strategy to ensure the sustainability of the

      organisation.

    •  Managing audit processes, risk management, and financial

      governance.

      Requirements:

    •  A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent NQF Level 8 qualification.

    •  A minimum of 10 years financial management experience, preferably in the public sector or cultural institution; with a minimum 5 years of senior management.

    •  In-depth knowledge of PFMA, GRAP, and other relevant financial regulations.

    •  Strong leadership and communication skills. Application Details:
